If you know of an orphanage or organization that can benefit from improved nutrition, please refer them to our Blessing resources
page. There you will find the application process and the resources needed to get them enrolled in the Blessing program.
The Blessing program provides advanced nutrition to malnourished and at-risk children around the world. Nutritional support is delivered through mission trips, direct shipments, container drops, and by partnering with more than 800 life giving organizations all over the world. To date, more than 120,000 orphans and children are registered in the Blessing program.
The Blessing program provides products formulated using whole food technology solutions.
If you are in need of financial assistance, MannaRelief has various resources available to support your fundraising needs. Please call 817-557-8700 to speak to a representative, or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
to learn more.
Currently, international shipping may be available depending on the size of the orphanage/organization or the number of children represented by the orphanages/organizations within a country. If shipping is unavailable, nutritional support can be sent to a stateside contact to be carried over to the country of the orphanage/organization. Additional shipping methods are continually being researched.
A Champion can be any person that is in regular contact with an orphanage/organization to provide information and updates on behalf of the caregiver/director in charge of the orphanage/organization. In many cases, a Champion is needed when there are language barriers, time-zone differences, or when a caregiver/director of an orphanage/organization is working full-time to provide care for their children, therefore leaving them unable to provide information and updates in a timely manner.
The Hope program provides an integrative nutritional support program for at-risk children from birth through 18 years in North America and around the world. These children receive an extensive supply of nutritional supplements designed to help support their immune systems to provide the best quality of life results. To date, more than 9,000 children have participated in the Hope program.
Any child from birth to 18 years of age in North America that is in need of an integrative nutritional and immune system support program can qualify for the Hope program. You may apply online
, download an application
, or call 817-557-8700. Once your application has been submitted, a Hope representative will review your application and contact you shortly.
After successfully enrolling in the Hope program, a recommendation will be assigned with products based on whole food technology solutions. During the six month program, each child receives three shipments, one shipment every two months, which includes a sixty day supply of nutritional support.
Sponsorship can come from many different sources such as family, friends, co-workers, churches, schools, local businesses and fundraising. Donations may be made by check, credit card, or electronic bank withdrawal. We offer auto-renewal for those sponsoring by credit card or electronic bank withdrawal. ?MannaRelief only ships to U.S. and Canadian contacts and addresses. If the recipient lives in a country other than the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa, someone within the US or Canada must be responsible for receiving the product from MannaRelief and then shipping the product to the child and their country of residence.
In the U.S., shipments are made via UPS and USPS. In Canada, shipments are made via Canada Post or Purolator. ?All products are shipped directly to the child's address and may only be consumed by the child enrolled in the Hope program.
If your child is pregnant, nursing, taking medications, has a health condition, or is planning a medical procedure, it is always best to consult their health professional before use. Please discontinue use and consult a doctor if any adverse reaction occurs after taking the products.
We're partnered with more than 800 life giving organizations around the world. Some of these organizations, such as gypsy camps and villages, are in extremely difficult to reach places - places we are unable to ship directly to. While not always the case for taking a mission trip, the only way to reach children in these hard to reach places is to physically go there. While there, we also take the time to carefully educate Caregivers on nutrition, how to use the solutions we provide and good etiquette for extended storage.
Mission trips not only provide a means of getting nutritional products to children in need, but they give us the opportunity to directly interact with the children we seek to help. Volunteer team members have the opportunity to take a small glimpse of what it's like to live life as an orphan. This also gives us the opportunity to bring a smile to a child's face, whether it is giving them a toy, sharing a story, playing music, singing songs, putting on a puppet show, or simply giving them a hug.
Each year brings unique opportunities. We always try to organize at least one trip per year.
Please refer to the giving guidelines
above to pay for your trip in full, make installment payments, or provide sponsors a form of payment.
The absolute best way to fundraise for your trip is to share your passion and enthusiasm for making a difference with your family, friends, co-workers, church family, school and local businesses.
When determining the price of a mission trip, we include hotel accommodations, three meals a day, ground travel expenses and excursion activities. Airfare cost is excluded from the price of the trip due to changing airline pricing based on when a flight is booked.
A mission trip can last anywhere from 5 to 14 days.
We choose trip destinations based on general interest from our support base, country history and partner contacts.
Malnutrition is caused by an improper or insufficient diet. It is most often referred to as under-nutrition resulting from inadequate consumption, poor absorption, or excessive loss of nutrients. Malnutrition greatly weakens the body’s immune system, which can lead to extreme consequences. Orphans are particulary vulnerable to the devastating effects of malnutrition.
Children become malnourished when they don't receive the adequate nutrients their bodies need to maintain health.
Current food programs are mainly cereal-based and lack many of the nutrients young children need. According to the international relief organization, Doctors Without Borders, food is not enough. In fact, these fortified, blended flours no longer meet the minimum nutritional criteria for young children set by experts at the World Health Organization. In other words, filling a child's stomach not only fails to correct the problem, but it serves as only a temporary fix to a much bigger problem.
Experts agree that proper nutrition supports the body’s ability to defend against disease and illness. Children suffering from malnutrition need more natural, nutrient-dense foods to best support their nutritional needs. Recent advancements in hydroponically grown vegetables are an example of how science can provide new sources of standardized, plant-based nutrients that can meet this need. MannaRelief can supply children with Whole Food Nutrition
, a new multivitamin and mineral blend based on whole food technology solutions that can be added to virtually any type of daily meal. Now, every child can get the nutrient support they deserve.
